Civic Ensemble and Notch Theatre Company are producing a staged reading of Cafe Utopia, a dystopian comedy about work conditions, labor, and what it takes to stand up for one’s rights in the workplace. This play was originally produced in NYC by Notch Theatre Company, and was created based on interviews with workers and labor organizers across the country.
This production will include monologues inspired by the stories of local labor organizers and workers. Join us for these important stories and conversation!
